About the position

The Field Sales Consultant Dental position is responsible for managing B2B sales activities within a designated territory, focusing on growing merchandise, equipment, and service sales with existing customers while actively seeking new customers. The role emphasizes building strong business relationships and effectively communicating the value of Henry Schein's offerings to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales Gross Profit (GP) goals by executing key sales initiatives and programs.
  • Direct sales activities within the territory through coordinated team selling efforts.
  • Develop, manage, and increase Merchandise, Equipment, and Service Sales in the assigned territory through face-to-face consultative contact and regular customer business reviews.
  • Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Plan, organize, and implement effective strategies using company programs and tools to increase market share.
  • Attend sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, internal training programs, and industry events to promote event selling and deepen customer relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years prior sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional selling skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other computer software skills.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
