The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for achieving the company's sales goals within the assigned territory by focusing on the management of existing customers, development of new opportunities, furthering strategic markets, and developing strong and rewarding internal and external customer relationships. This position, under moderate supervision and guidance, functions as the principal relationship manager to the customers in the assigned territory by aligning customers' needs with the company's product and applications engineering, customer service, and marketing efforts. In this role, the Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for effectively managing the sales effort in an assigned geographic area. They will serve as the critical link between Dodge and the customers, acting as an expert who consults with customers to provide engineering and application assistance. The Field Sales Engineer will be a solution provider, not just a product salesperson, and will be extensively trained in all facets of company knowledge, industry applications, products, and effective solution selling principles.
