The Field Sales Engineer position at MPSnow is a critical role responsible for driving design-in activities and achieving sales wins within assigned customer accounts and geographical areas. This position requires a proactive approach to consistently exceed assigned revenue targets while managing indirect relationships with Manufacturers Representatives and channel partners that support MPS products. The Field Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with the MPS product division's marketing and engineering teams to identify market trends and specific customer requirements, ensuring MPS maintains a leadership position at strategic accounts. In this role, the successful candidate will leverage their strong knowledge of target customers, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to effectively promote MPS products. A technical understanding of the entire MPS product portfolio and the associated go-to-market strategies for each product line is essential. The Field Sales Engineer must possess excellent people and analytical skills to manage sales personnel, including manufacturer representatives and channel partners, to foster growth in design wins, revenue, and customer relationships. Building and nurturing management-level and design engineering relationships at strategic customers is a key responsibility. The Field Sales Engineer will also interface with MPS executive staff and product divisions to articulate and defend key business strategies, revenue targets, and customer situations within their assigned territory. Strong presentation skills are necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both within customer organizations and MPS internal divisions and executives. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently as a sales contributor, whether in the field or from a home office.
