About the position

The position involves facilitating the design-in and sales of Power Integrations' power semiconductor products within the Americas sales team. The individual will provide technical support for new and existing projects to OEM customers, focusing on developing and growing revenue at established key accounts and new accounts. A solid understanding of the product portfolio and the ability to present effective solutions is essential, along with a deep understanding of customer design requirements for AC/DC power conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Technical lead and first point of contact for all customer requests and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at key accounts.
  • Develop and present technical presentations and discuss design solutions that meet the customer's requirements.
  • Prepare technical solutions explaining PI's product features and benefits with inputs from FAE's.
  • Capture all commercial information including application, program name, volume, CM partner location, and SOP.
  • Manage customer forecast, prepare sales reports, and territory updates.
  • Provide pre-sales support to assure customers that the product will work for their application.
  • Assist with post-sales support for product integration into designs or troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • BSEE required.
  • 4+ years industry experience selling power IC/electronics.
  • Experience in power electronics with emphasis on power conversion topologies (Buck, Boost, Fly-back, Forward, LLC, PFC converters).
  • Experience in applications and/or design of end equipment using control ICs & power semiconductors.
  • Knowledgeable in usage of various electronic test and EMC equipment.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all team members.
  • Time efficient with the ability to support many active projects in parallel.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preference given to candidates with California presence, though not mandatory.
  • Additional language skills in Mandarin Chinese to support regional partners.
