About the position

The Field Sales Pro at BSN Sports is responsible for managing the full cycle sales process within an assigned territory in Montgomery County, MD. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to coaches, generating revenue, and developing leads to maximize sales opportunities. The position operates in a hybrid environment, requiring the individual to reside in the area to effectively manage local client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory.
  • Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
  • Actively develop and qualify leads within respective territory through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Demonstrate resilience to handle rejection and turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Navigate multiple functions within the company's CRM to support sales and customer relationship efforts.
  • Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
  • Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
  • Manage account list and travel within assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a high level of self-direction and autonomy in managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Proficiently prioritize and manage tasks with strong time management skills.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
  • Maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years' business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports-related background.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated local community involvement.
