About the position

The Field Sales Professional at BSN SPORTS is responsible for managing and optimizing the full cycle sales process within an assigned territory. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service to coaches and administrators, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed. The position operates in a hybrid environment, requiring both home office work and field visits to local schools and organizations. The Field Sales Professional will actively develop leads, meet sales targets, and represent the company's core values in all business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory.
  • Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
  • Actively develop and qualify leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
  • Handle rejection and turn challenges into opportunities with resilience and persistence.
  • Navigate multiple functions within the company's CRM for prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
  • Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
  • Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
  • Manage account list and travel within assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports-related background.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-direction and autonomy in managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
