About the position

The Field Sales Representative role at AmeriPro Roofing involves educating homeowners about their entitlements related to storm damage for roofing, siding, and gutter projects. This position is crucial for the company's growth, allowing representatives to focus on sales without the burden of project management, as operational support is provided for various stages of the job process. Representatives are compensated based on performance and have opportunities for significant earnings and career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, identify, and close new sales opportunities through targeted canvassing, referrals, preset leads, networking, and social media.
  • Manage and maximize assigned territory.
  • Conduct exterior property inspections to identify wind and hail damage.
  • Convert inspections into claims filed and contracts signed.
  • Review scope of work and sign contracts with homeowners.
  • Meet with insurance adjusters on property.
  • Collect funds and insurance deductibles from homeowners.
  • Obtain referrals from customers on approved sales and networking.
  • Build relationships with homeowners by earning their trust.
  • Educate customers on the industry, products, and AmeriPro's policies and procedures.
  • Manage sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Maintain constant communication with sales leadership, homeowners, and office staff.
  • Prepare and attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Follow AmeriPro's sales system, policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven full cycle sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Must have a reliable working vehicle with insurance coverage (10 years or newer preferred to qualify for allowance).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have, or obtain, a smartphone capable of downloading apps and taking pictures.
  • Previous experience using a CRM platform required.
  • Experience following a documented consultative sales system preferred.
  • Self-sufficient; must be able to work in an independent environment.
  • Dedication to personal career development by reaching set goals.
  • Must have a valid driver's license (any state applicable).
  • 21 years of age or older preferred (for insurance purposes).

  • Industry knowledge a plus but not required.
  • Experience following a documented consultative sales system preferred.
