About the position

As a Field Sales Representative for World's Finest Chocolate, you will be responsible for selling premium chocolate fundraising products and comprehensive fundraising solutions to schools and organizations. This outside sales role involves cold calling, conducting in-person sales meetings, and managing customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets. You will work closely with the Director of US Sales-Fundraising to optimize sales activities using a mapping tool and CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the list-based territory to engage potential customers through cold calls, networking, and market research to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular in-person presentations of our fundraising program, showcasing the value of World's Finest Chocolate products.
  • Initiate the sales process by coordinating with sponsors to kick off their fundraising campaigns and providing necessary resources and support.
  • Ensure clear communication with sponsors throughout the fundraising process to maximize campaign success.
  • Effectively use World's Finest's tools such as the Sale Tracker and WFC Sponsored Prize Program to manage sales activities and track progress.
  • Utilize the customer relationship management platform to maintain pipeline visibility and manage follow-ups.
  • Conduct wrap-up meetings with sponsors to review fundraiser outcomes and gather feedback.
  • Regularly report on sales performance metrics including visits, presentations, close rates, total sales, and client retention.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably within fundraising or related industries.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and mapping tools for sales tracking and optimization.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full-time, remote work schedule effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated market for in-person client meetings.

Nice-to-haves
