About the position

The Field Service Account Manager at Clean Harbors is responsible for managing client accounts in the Marine Shipping and Oil & Gas industry, focusing on business development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality field services. This role involves maintaining customer relationships, coordinating with operational teams, and identifying new business opportunities to meet revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client accounts and ensure exceptional field service delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries related to field services.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely delivery of proposals, RFPs, and site assessments.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to meet project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports related to business development.
  • Develop accounts and prospects to increase awareness of Clean Harbors' capabilities and meet revenue objectives.
  • Track activities, opportunities, and accounts using company tools to enhance customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of sales and business development experience in account management within the Marine Shipping & Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Marine Shipping & Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Strong teamwork and ability to influence others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in environmental field service operations or related fields.
