About the position

As a TRUMPF Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide high-quality technical service to our customers. This position involves traveling to customer sites throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair TRUMPF CNC fabricating machine tools. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of sheet metal machines, documenting customer machine information, and making improvement suggestions based on technical conditions observed during your visits. Additionally, you will train customers on how to operate and service their machines to maximize productivity. Your role will also require you to act as a TRUMPF Service ambassador, working directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success. Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair TRUMPF CNC fabricating machine tools.
  • Provide high-quality technical service to customers to ensure optimal sheet metal machine performance.
  • Document customer machine information and technical conditions, making improvement suggestions as necessary.
  • Train customers to operate and/or service machines to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Act as a TRUMPF Service ambassador, working directly with customers during installations and repairs.

Requirements

  • Hands-on problem solver experienced in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics.
  • Focused on customer service and quality.
  • Technologically savvy and experienced in software and file management.
  • Eager to travel 100%.
