About the position

The Field Service Engineer (Bradley A4) position involves working on-site at the Red River Army Depot to support the teardown process of Bradley A4 vehicles. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with work instructions and quality standards while tracking progress and managing parts for future use. This is a contract role with the potential for extension or direct hire.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the RRAD Bradley A4 teardown line to ensure adherence to the current Statement of Work (SOW) and work instructions.
  • Ensure the incoming seed vehicles are in cumulative order while moving down the disassembly line.
  • Track and submit daily progress of A4 chassis as they move through the teardown process.
  • Maintain and submit required check sheets during and after each vehicle chassis teardown.
  • Identify, tag, and tote parts on the teardown line that need to be retained for future use from the ODS Bradley to the Bradley A4 platform.
  • Ensure no parts required for future use on the Bradley A4 are discarded during the teardown process.
  • Collaborate with the WW Williams warehouse to ensure sufficient quantities of packaging are available to facilitate the vehicle teardown process.
  • Ensure harvested parts are correctly packaged and sent to the warehouse for future use.
  • Ensure 3 power packs per week are extracted and sent to dyno for further teardown.
  • Coordinate with RRAD and WW Williams to receive the required packaging quantities for vehicle and power pack teardowns.
  • Work closely with RRAD quality and production teams to ensure strict adherence to all company and Government-mandated quality requirements during the teardown of Bradley ODS vehicles.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned related to our programs at Red River Army Depot.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED is required at a minimum (higher level education is welcome).
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in building Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents.
  • Ability to navigate various databases for entering pertinent information.
  • Ability to read and interpret Bradley drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other company employees and the Red River Army Depot employees both on the teardown line and in the office.
  • Ability to generate legible and well-written reports when required.
