About the position

The Field Service Engineer for Cath Labs at Philips is responsible for customer relationship management, utilizing technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical equipment at customer sites. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective teamwork to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements and meeting commitments.
  • Understand the customer's business and competitive environment to generate service revenue.
  • Participate actively as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
  • Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes.
  • Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems in a timely manner.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related tasks.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements.
