About the position

The Field Service Engineer at Radiometer is responsible for supporting customer needs related to medical diagnostic equipment, which directly impacts patient health. This role involves troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair of Radiometer equipment, primarily in the Columbus, OH area. The position requires building and maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring safe operational conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, calibrate, clean, and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by reviewing solutions and discussing needs.
• Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices, and tools.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment at the customer site and in the company vehicle.

Requirements

• One year of Field Service Engineer or related experience, preferably in the medical field.
• AS - Technical Associates Degree or Electronic Technology Diploma and/or Military experience.
• Basic troubleshooting experience in Electromechanical, Networking, or IT system upgrades.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.
• Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.
