About the position

The Field Service Engineer at Radiometer is responsible for supporting customer needs related to diagnostic equipment, which directly impacts patient health and well-being. This role involves troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair of Radiometer equipment, primarily in the Columbus, OH area. The position is remote but requires travel within the designated territory, emphasizing the importance of building positive customer relationships and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, calibrate, clean, and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships, reviewing solutions and discussing needs to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices, and tools, while ensuring a clean and safe working environment at customer sites and in the company vehicle.

Requirements

• One year of Field Service Engineer or related experience, preferably in the medical field.
• AS - Technical Associates Degree or Electronic Technology Diploma and/or Military experience.
• Basic troubleshooting experience in electromechanical, networking, or IT system upgrades.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.
• Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.
