About the position

The position involves providing technical support for Abbott's Diagnostic Division, focusing on customer service and satisfaction through effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of diagnostic instruments. Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support to Abbott Diagnostic Division customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complaints on complex instruments.
  • Document complaint resolutions accurately and timely.
  • Schedule and complete routine preventive maintenance and installations.
  • Support on-call rotation and manage time, territory, and inventory effectively.
  • Provide critical account support and maintain ownership of customer issues until resolution.
  • Champion the use of remote support tools to improve instrument uptime.
  • Achieve established business metrics including service sales and key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Practical experience interfacing with customers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's/Engineering Degree in Bio Medical/Electrical/Mechanical or Medical Technology.
