About the position

As a Field Service Engineer I at Honeywell, you will provide advanced field service support to customers, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical PLC systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues and implementing best practices to enhance customer satisfaction, while working from home and reporting to client sites in the Midwest-Northeast Service Areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced field service support to customers, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical/electrical PLC.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide effective solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• 1+ years of proven PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming experience.
• 2+ years of material experience (conveyors, sorters, etc.).
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven PLC troubleshooting, repair and programming experience.
• Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
• Strong customer focus and dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
