As a Field Service Engineer I, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to safeguarding the world's most vital resources. This role is anticipated to be 60% remote, allowing you to work from home, while 40% of your time will be spent in the field, primarily in Southern Nebraska, around the McCook and Holdredge areas. The position may also require occasional out-of-state and out-of-country travel throughout the year, depending on customer needs and project requirements. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, both over the phone and in the field. Your responsibilities will include supporting and troubleshooting the design, construction, installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of our instrumentation. You will also travel to customer locations to provide hands-on support for installation or diagnostic/repair work, with occasional overnight stays at company-approved hotels. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers over the phone and in the field.
  • Support and troubleshoot the design, construction, installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of flow instrumentation.
  • Travel to customer locations to provide hands-on support for installation or diagnostic/repair work.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Mechanical skills and/or experience is a must.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Field Service experience.
  • Experience working with irrigation pipelines or pump controls.
  • Proven ability to self-manage and take initiative.
