About the position

As a Field Service Engineer I at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the installation and servicing of Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems (TGMS) within the Industrial Safety business unit. This role involves both preventive and reactive service responses, ensuring equipment is maintained to manufacturer standards and assisting in the commissioning of new equipment. You will interact with various contacts within customer organizations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support cross-functional teams to resolve administrative issues related to equipment delivery and installation.

Responsibilities

• Install gas detection systems such as electrochemical, catalytic bead, and infrared or Repair Work Orders.
• Start up and commissioning of technical equipment.
• Validate customer requests.
• Educate customers and field technicians.
• Write documentation used by field technicians.
• Maintain faults in an expedited manner to return equipment to fully operational mode.
• Order all parts and maintain stocking for both consumable and non-consumable items.
• Provide customer support to on-site point of contact.
• Be available for occasional emergency calls after hours, including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Work in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Technical Installations or engineering (electrical or mechanical devices).
• Valid Driver's License.
