Additionally, you will have opportunities to learn pharmacy and nursing workflows and understand how medication management systems significantly drive efficiency and reduce wasteful spending. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing moderate to advanced-level onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical solutions. You will regularly communicate with nursing and pharmacy staff at various levels and tackle problems of varying scope. Thorough documentation of all service events according to Omnicell's policies and procedures is essential, as is meeting company guidelines for response time and service levels. You will also be expected to escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels, participate in various staff meetings, maintain service quality and customer satisfaction, and manage parts inventory and return materials processes. The work conditions require the ability to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high, availability for on-call rotations, and frequent local travel in the primary area. You will need to provide a work area at home and space for trunk stock inventory. The selected individual must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, be able to meet Omnicell's insurance coverage requirements, and have their own vehicle in acceptable working condition.
