Our FSEs provide troubleshooting, repair services, and scheduled preventive maintenance for Omnicell's pharmacy and supply automation solutions at customer sites. Your work will keep critical pharmacy and supply systems running, helping healthcare providers deliver the highest quality patient care. As a Field Service Engineer, you will engage with healthcare professionals to optimize healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. You will apply your mechanical skills in a dynamic and rewarding healthcare environment while interacting with healthcare professionals. Your work will help optimize healthcare delivery, directly impacting patient lives. You will have opportunities for advancement and learning specialized automated or robotic products, allowing you to develop your skills further. In this role, you will be responsible for providing moderate to advanced-level onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical and automation solutions. You will regularly communicate with nursing and pharmacy staff at various levels, tackling problems of varying scope and complexity. Additionally, you will document all service events according to Omnicell's policies and procedures, meet company guidelines for response time and service levels, and escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels. The position requires you to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction while managing parts inventory and the return materials process. You will also be expected to participate in various staff meetings and provide coaching and mentoring as needed, especially at the Level II position.
