The Field Service Engineer position at Keysight involves working as a technical expert in the calibration of test and measurement equipment. The engineer will be stationed at a calibration site in Richardson, TX, and will engage in various tasks related to equipment calibration, data management, and software updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform work related to the calibration of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment.
• Utilize written and automated calibration procedures.
• Evaluate test failures to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.
• Accurately enter data into Calibration management software and datasheets.
• Install software and firmware upgrades, including re-imaging of customer instruments.
• Manage, coordinate, and update equipment information and service activities using internal databases.
• Adhere to company and quality policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer or Calibration Engineer/Technician.
• Expert skills in the calibration of all types of Keysight and Multivendor Test Equipment.
• Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, MetCal, Surecal, PC Based, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong interfacing skills.
• A demonstrated ability to understand electronic theory.
