Responsibilities

  • Perform automatic transfer switch startups and modifications.
  • Handle warranty and emergency service calls.
  • Provide technical support for field startups, warranty efforts, and preventative maintenance contracts.
  • Supervise compliance with safety policies and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure high customer service standards and negotiate project scope and charges.
  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory laws.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Field Service Engineering.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong background in electrical power systems, including low to medium voltage.
  • Experience with automatic transfer switch testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints for power control and automation.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
  • Strong project management skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Valid Driver's license in good standing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, DC/AC, and Voltage Circuit Theory.
