About the position

The position is a remote role within Abbott's Diagnostics Division, focusing on account management and customer relationship building. The Ambassador will serve as the primary contact for customer accounts, aiming to enhance economic profitability, customer loyalty, and retention while driving value expansion. Responsibilities include technical support, managing customer relationships, and ensuring effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary account management contact with customer accounts.
  • Improve economic profitability and increase customer loyalty.
  • Secure retention and drive value expansion for existing customers.
  • Deliver first-line support and technical troubleshooting for customer issues.
  • Coordinate order, delivery, and billing processes.
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Conduct customer business reviews and manage customer relationships.
  • Identify customer training requirements and provide coaching.
  • Replenish and control inventory while building the Abbott brand image.
  • Collect and transmit Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Preferred degree in Bio Medical, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Medical Technology, or Commercial.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience with laboratory instrumentation or in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience providing technical product application and hardware support.
  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently and demonstrate negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to customer service.

  • Experience interfacing with customers in a technical support role.
