About the position

As a Field Service Engineer at Videojet, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support to our customers through direct interactions. You will be part of a close-knit team that spans multiple locations, ensuring that you are never alone in your responsibilities. Your primary focus will be on the ongoing care and support of our customers' equipment, which includes installing our products and solutions at their locations, diagnosing and resolving any challenges that arise, and building strong relationships with customers to become their trusted advisor. Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing care and support for our customer's equipment
  • Install our products and solutions at customer locations
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems
  • Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers, to develop excellent relationships
  • Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology

Requirements

  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Up to two years of technical experience
  • Basic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word)
  • Compliance with PPE, safety and registration requirements of customers
  • Ability to perform and/or tolerate all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, walking and kneeling, standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, use of hand tools and manual dexterity
