About the position

The Field Service Engineer position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the maintenance and repair of advanced medical imaging equipment, specifically Cath Lab, Cardiovascular, and Invasive Radiography Machines. This position requires a highly skilled individual with hands-on experience in servicing Cath Lab equipment from multiple vendors, including OEMs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a Service Engineer and must have undergone formal training through an OEM or an accredited third-party institution. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment, particularly those manufactured by Siemens, as well as CT and MRI machines. The position demands a self-starter who can travel and work independently with minimal supervision. You will be expected to resolve problems effectively, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments that involve direct interaction with customers. Your responsibilities will include performing scheduled preventative maintenance, which encompasses calibrations and verifications of system specifications. You will also be required to learn and gain knowledge of various imaging equipment to ensure effective preventative maintenance. Accurate documentation of all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards is essential. Additionally, you will assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipment, submit field service reports in a timely manner, and communicate with the account manager regarding the services being provided. Managing and maintaining company assets necessary for performing job functions is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment specific to Siemens, CT and MRI.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations and verifications of system specifications.
  • Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment in order to perform preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Accurately document all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards.
  • Assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipment.
  • Submit field service reports timely and according to functional standards.
  • Communicate with account manager on services being provided.
  • Manage and maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions.

Requirements

  • Must have hands-on experience working on Cath Lab equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Engineer.
  • Formal training through an OEM or accredited third-party.
