About the position

MKS Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This individual will provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. The role involves managing the installation and repair of Liquid and Dry Ozone, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), and Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) products for key accounts in the US. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for ensuring operational quality of system equipment and will serve as the company liaison with customers on both administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Ensure operational quality of system equipment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent; with a minimum of 5 years of related Semiconductor experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree and/or applicable certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office programs.
