About the position
The TRUMPF Field Service Engineer role involves traveling to customer sites across the United States, Canada, and Mexico to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair TRUMPF CNC fabricating machine tools. This position emphasizes providing high-quality technical service to ensure optimal machine performance and includes training customers on machine operation and maintenance. The role is remote but requires relocation to Celina, Ohio, and is ideal for individuals who are flexible, professional, and eager to solve problems in a hands-on manner.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair TRUMPF CNC fabricating machine tools.
- Provide high-quality technical service to customers to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions.
- Train customers to operate and/or service machines to ensure maximum productivity.
- Act as a TRUMPF Service ambassador and work directly with customers during installations and repairs.
Requirements
- Experience in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics.
- Strong focus on customer service and quality.
- Technologically savvy with experience in software and file management.
- Ability to travel 100% of the time.
