About the position

The Field Service Engineer role at Philips involves providing exceptional customer service through the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites. This position requires effective customer relationship management and adherence to regulatory requirements while working in a remote setting with significant travel expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements and meeting commitments and arrival times.
  • Actively participate as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
  • Perform all administrative duties within established regulatory requirements and timeframes, including timesheets and service work orders.
  • Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4+ years in electromechanical industries.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.

Nice-to-haves
