About the position

The Field Service Engineer Summer Intern position at Thermo Fisher Scientific is designed for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering. This internship offers hands-on experience in the field service engineering domain, allowing interns to work closely with experienced engineers, engage in meaningful projects, and contribute to customer service excellence. Responsibilities

  • Observe and learn from experienced Field Service Engineers (FSEs) at customer sites.
  • Complete a specific project related to Field Service Engineering.
  • Present project findings and internship experiences to the Divisional Leadership Team.
  • Participate in a one-day volunteer project within the local community.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemistry, Science, or a related field.
  • Must return to school as a rising Senior after the internship.
  • Satisfactory academic record and good standing at the college or university.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service work experience.
  • Engineering, Robotics, and/or IT work experience.
