About the position

The 2025 Field Service Engineer (FSE) Summer Intern position is designed for motivated individuals pursuing a career in engineering. This internship, part of the Instrument and Enterprise Services Division, focuses on building a pipeline of engineering talent for Field Services. Interns will gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced Field Service Engineers, and engage in a community volunteer project, all while contributing to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Observe and learn from experienced Field Service Engineers (FSEs).
• Understand the intricacies of the business and the dedication required for exceptional customer service.
• Complete a specific project linked to the Field Service Engineering business.
• Showcase project findings and experiences to the Divisional Leadership Team (DLT).
• Engage in a one-day volunteer project within the local community.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, returning as a rising Senior.
• Satisfactory academic record and good standing at the college or university.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Customer service work experience.
• Engineering, Robotics, and/or IT work experience.
