About the position

The Senior Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that Access facilities and equipment operate efficiently and comfortably for patients, visitors, and staff. This position involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs across various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, as well as supporting the maintenance of dental and medical equipment. The technician will also assist with mobile dental equipment setup and maintenance, particularly for a mobile dental RV, and will be on call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Access facilities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
• Support the maintenance and repair of dental and medical equipment.
• Assist with the setup and movement of mobile dental equipment at various school districts.
• Gain knowledge of RV heating, cooling, and electrical systems to support the mobile dental RV.
• Be on call for facilities-related emergencies or support as needed.
• Work with vendors performing maintenance work for Access.

Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Completion of a 2-5 year apprenticeship or journeyman's electrician program (if applicable).
• Completion of a 3-5 year apprenticeship or journeyman's HVAC program (if applicable).
