About the position

The Field Service Engineer role involves extensive travel to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC fabricating machine tools at customer sites across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The position requires providing high-quality technical service to ensure optimal machine performance and includes training customers on machine operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC fabricating machine tools at customer sites throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
• Provide high-quality technical service to customers to ensure optimal sheet metal machine performance.
• Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions.
• Train customers to operate and/or service machines to ensure maximum productivity.
• Act as a company service ambassador and work directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success.

Requirements

• Must be a flexible professional, curious, and bold, focused on customer service and quality.
• A hands-on problem solver experienced in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Technologically savvy and experienced in software and file management.
