The Field Service Engineer position is a critical role within a leading manufacturer of precision CNC manufacturing cutting tools, known for its high-quality CNC machines and 5-axis systems. The role requires a traveling Field Service Engineer who will operate from a remote office, providing essential support to customers across the nation and internationally. In this position, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering on-site and telephone support to customers regarding the maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools. This includes creating and updating technical documentation to ensure that all processes are well-documented and accessible. Additionally, the engineer will assist in product development by training end customers' Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of new product lines, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience and product reliability. Establishing and maintaining excellent communication and customer service relationships with clients is paramount. The engineer will have the support of an in-house tech team, ensuring that they have the necessary backup when needed. The role is designed for individuals who are not only technically skilled but also possess strong interpersonal skills to foster positive client relationships.
