About the position

The SCIEX Field Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing SCIEX products at customer sites, particularly in the North Los Angeles and Orange County areas. This role involves independent problem-solving of technical issues, mentoring less experienced staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while supporting strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair SCIEX products at customer sites.
• Resolve assigned customer and technical issues independently.
• Perform qualifications services and customer training.
• Log service activities, expense reporting, and inventory management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis.
• Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to troubleshoot and follow problem-solving procedures.
• Experience with electrical and electromechanical technology.
• Familiarity with safety protocols.
