About the position

The Field Service Engineer position involves providing technical support and service for high-tech laser technology solutions across various industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Scientific research. This role requires extensive travel within North America to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in North America as part of the technical service group.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair company equipment with high quality.
• Complete basic retrofits, software installations, and customer training.
• Complete paperwork on time with high quality.
• Work independently to resolve technical problems and maintain good relationships with customers.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in engineering or related field preferred, or a combination of training and work experience.
• Strong electrical and computer systems experience and high level of diagnostic skills.
• Previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems, or mechatronics required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
