About the position

The Field Service Engineer role involves providing technical support and servicing hardware and navigation systems primarily in the Gulf Coast region. This position requires a balance of remote work and travel to customer sites, ensuring that equipment is operational and customer needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and support for equipment and customers.
• Prioritize and complete work tasks for the assigned service trip or project.
• Identify and report incidents, improvements, and needs to Service Manager.

Requirements

• Technical support on Dynamic Positioning Systems and various Navigation Systems.
• General support activities and technical assistance including onsite and remote support.
• Up to 50% travel for service trips to vessels, shipyard, and other customer sites.
• Commissioning work on new builds and upgrades to existing installations.
• Follow up with appropriate technical department after service jobs.
• Maintain certifications through yearly online certification tests.
• Able to operate in a remote environment.
• Must have active driver's license.
• At least 4+ years working as a field service engineer.
