About the position

As a Field Service/Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in this mission by providing highly visible customer support through on-site installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex radiotherapy systems. Your responsibilities will include checking out and approving the operational quality of system equipment, instructing customers on the operation and maintenance of the systems, and serving as a liaison between the company and customers on both administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. You will interpret customer needs and clarify whether the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support representatives, or engineers. This position encompasses all aspects of field support, including system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. Your work will directly contribute to the development and support of innovative treatment delivery systems that help cancer patients live longer, better lives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site installation of radiotherapy systems and ensure operational quality.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair complex equipment and systems.
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and customers for administrative and technical matters.
  • Interpret customer needs and clarify responsibilities for problem resolution.
  • Support all aspects of field support including hardware, software, PCs, and networking.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field service engineering or a related technical support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to instruct and support customers effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Authorization to work in the country of application on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with radiotherapy systems or medical equipment.
  • Familiarity with networking and wireless technologies.
  • Previous experience in customer support or service roles in a technical field.
