As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting various systems including access controls, locking mechanisms, air flow, lighting controls, HVAC, and plumbing. Your duties will include performing preventative maintenance, providing warranty service and support, offering emergency service and support, reviewing system installations, and system commissioning. This role involves significant travel, with 75-85% of your time spent visiting client sites, including renowned institutions and pharmaceutical companies. While on assignment, you will receive a per diem for hotel and meals, though initial expenses will require upfront payment. A company vehicle will be provided. This role is not labor intensive and is primarily field-based servicing mostly animal research labs. You will be expected to travel extensively, up to 85% of the time, and occasionally stay over weekends with compensatory time off.
