About the position

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of automation tools and systems at customer facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include installations, on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services. You will work closely with the manufacturing team to debug machines, validate processes, and commission new systems. This position requires a high level of independence, as you will often work with minimal supervision, but you will also be part of cross-functional teams, collaborating to achieve common goals. Attention to detail is paramount in this role, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Work closely with Manufacturing for machine debug, validation, and commissioning
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installed equipment
• Coordinate and perform installation, startup, validation, and commissioning of systems at customer facilities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience in a technical, customer focused, field service position.
• Proficient with standard electronic test equipment.
• Able to read electrical schematics, and controls and mechanical drawings.
• Have a firm understanding of mechanical devices employed in systems or tools such as robots, conveyors, shuttles, and other material handling devices.
