In this role, you will be responsible for performing on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems. You will work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data review of identifiable factors is required. This position requires exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. Your essential duties will include checking out and approving the operational quality of system equipment, communicating and resolving issues to ensure successful sign-off with customers, and instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Providing exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers is a key aspect of this role. The position requires approximately 70% travel, and you will serve as the company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
  • Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
  • Communicate and resolve issues to ensure successful sign-off with customers.
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
  • Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
  • Travel approximately 70% of the time, including domestic and international travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience; OR 5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of field service semiconductor or electro-mechanical equipment (X-Ray or Bond Test) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to serve and train customers effectively.
  • Experience successfully servicing electronic equipment strongly preferred.
  • Basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel, including intermittent international travel is required.
