About the position

As a Field Service Engineer at Orion Talent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support to our customers. This position is designed for transitioning or former military professionals who are looking to leverage their skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our coding and marking solutions by delivering ongoing care and support for customer equipment. Your role will involve installing our products at customer locations, diagnosing and resolving any challenges that arise, and building strong relationships with customers to become their trusted advisor. In this position, you will actively promote our service agreements and newer technology, helping to extend the company's footprint in the market. You will partner with customers to assess their needs, manage their expectations, and drive results that align with their goals. Proactive listening will be key, as you will need to anticipate customer needs and work towards mutually agreeable solutions. Collaboration with teammates, managers, and customers will be essential to ensure that we meet and exceed customer expectations. This role requires a commitment to excellence and a customer-centric approach, as you will be the eyes and ears of the company in the field. Your ability to problem-solve creatively and effectively will be critical in resolving customer issues and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing care and support for our customer's equipment.
  • Install our products and solutions at customer locations.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges and problems.
  • Become a trusted advisor and partner for customers, to develop excellent relationships.
  • Extend the company's footprint in the market by promoting their service agreements and newer technology.
  • Partner with customers to assess their needs, manage their expectations, and drive results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year mechanical experience and customer support.
  • Good DMV record.
  • Ability to problem-solve using available resources and creative solutions to resolve customer issues.
