About the position

As a Field Service Engineer I at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise and facilitate solutions for our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions while driving customer satisfaction. Your dedication to excellence and customer focus will be crucial for the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to the Field Service Engineering Manager and work at our customer's location in Glens Falls, New York. In this role, you will significantly impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for our customers
  • Provide and facilitate technical expertise for our IA solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Automation technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
  • Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion
  • Strong problem-solving and thoughtful abilities
  • Experience in field service engineering, project management or related roles
