Field Service Installation Representative

About the position

The Field Service Installation Representative at Taylor Corporation is responsible for the installation and movement of equipment, including warehouse racking and office furniture. This role is part of the Technical Services Department and requires effective communication, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist with new equipment installations
• Move existing equipment
• Install new warehouse racking and re-arrange existing warehouse racking
• Install new office furniture and re-arrange existing office furniture
• Maintain accurate records for materials purchased and track hours for specific projects
• Provide support and other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience
• A CDL or be willing/able to get CDL within 6 months of starting
• Ability to travel locally as needed
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations as well as read and understand scales and measurements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate - or willingness to learn how to operate - multiple kinds of material handling equipment
