About the position

The Field Service Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing field service operations across approximately 20-40 apartment communities. This position focuses on ensuring the successful deployment and quality of services, managing independent contractors, and prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with various teams and property staff to meet project specifications and revenue goals while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects for requested services across 20-40 apartment communities.
  • Identify, select, and onboard qualified independent contractors.
  • Update and manage daily schedules to ensure timely service completion.
  • Coordinate with apartment community staff and contractors to meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with service requirements.
  • Ensure safety protocols are met and address client concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property staff and branch staff through regular communication.
  • Educate property staff on new service offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; AA degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field services management.
  • Experience managing multiple locations and a dispersed workforce preferred.
  • Customer service and people management experience preferred.
  • Proposal building and sales experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in construction services management.
  • Ability to adapt to technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, SalesForce.com, Excel, and PowerPoint.
