About the position

The Field Service Representative role at AEVEX Aerospace involves providing high-quality customer service and technical support for avionic systems. The representative will work independently to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, focusing on maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic systems. This position requires extensive experience in the field and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and inspection of avionic systems.
• Provide CONUS and OCONUS field support for mission systems maintenance.
• Advise on logistics and operation of advanced electronic/electro-optic (EO)/radar avionics systems.
• Provide on-site engineering assistance and technical advice, including troubleshooting and engineering analysis.
• Assist with equipment operations, including installation, maintenance, and calibration.
• Provide advice on the use of special tools and test equipment associated with avionic systems.
• Interpret Technical orders and Engineering Change Proposals for customer personnel.
• Surveillance of shop maintenance and safety practices, recommending corrective measures as necessary.
• Interface with customer personnel at all levels to disseminate information related to maintenance and operational problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in avionic systems or similar roles.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and block diagrams.
• Extensive experience with avionic systems, preferably with AEVEX systems hardware in service with DOD agencies worldwide.
• Experience in troubleshooting, operation, modification, and inspection methods relative to installed systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
