About the position
The Field Service Representative I at Solventum is responsible for serving healthcare clients by delivering, picking up, and maintaining medical device equipment. This role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring the quality and cleanliness of the equipment. The representative will also manage inventory and assist in various operational tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Serve the needs of healthcare clients by delivering, picking up, and maintaining medical device equipment.
- Build and maintain superior customer relationships with Solventum customers.
- Perform and assist in maintaining inventory of products, parts, disposables, and supplies.
- Clean, process, and conduct quality control of medical device equipment.
- Manage general housekeeping of the facility and loading/unloading of equipment in company vehicles.
- Support customers, including patients and hospital staff, by providing superior customer service.
- Prepare medical device equipment for delivery, including cleaning and disinfecting.
- Track inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies.
- Attend training and other scheduled business functions, which may require commercial air travel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
- One (1) year customer-facing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Current, valid Driver's License.
Nice-to-haves
- Associate degree or higher.
- Ability to work a non-traditional work schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
