About the position

The Field Service Representative II for Cardiopulmonary at LivaNova is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing medical equipment within a designated territory. This role involves preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and ensuring quality standards are met. The representative will work closely with sales to promote services and maintain a strong company presence in the territory, while also managing administrative tasks and personal development goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment in assigned territory within scheduled time frames.
  • Sell service business within the territory and collaborate with sales to enhance LivaNova's presence.
  • Provide corrective maintenance on equipment within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded in service performance.
  • Accountable for all assigned company assets including tools, test equipment, and documentation.
  • Complete timely paperwork and administrative tasks per organizational policies.
  • Maintain a personal development action plan to improve job skills and product knowledge.
  • Maintain financial cost-effectiveness within the assigned territory.
  • Communicate accurate technical findings for thorough problem analysis and resolution.
  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires 2 years of Technical College or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Field Service Representative or Hospital Technician.
  • High level of organizational and territory management skills.
  • Ability to manage self and perform logical problem-solving methods.
  • Strong interactive people skills and customer relations abilities.
  • Demonstrated accountability for field service administrative tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to equipment issues.
