About the position

We are adding to our Field Service Technician team and looking for motivated, customer-focused, coachable individuals who have a knack for technology and sales. As part of our Field Service Technician team, you'll provide expert-level installation and services of cutting-edge technology. You will have the opportunity to maximize your earning potential by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue. Customers will rely on you to act with honesty and integrity as you offer what they have been looking for — peace of mind. Our technician team is made up of a wide variety of backgrounds and experience levels. We believe in investing in our employees and providing comprehensive training and support. Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level installation and services of smart home technology.
  • Maximize earning potential by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue.
  • Conduct a safety analysis of every home to assure a safe workplace for the technician and the customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support during installations and service calls.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Sales experience in car sales, retail sales, insurance sales, B2C sales, or call center experience.
  • Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or as a solar technician.
  • Clean driving record and valid license.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a technical field or with smart home technology.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
