Engineers will also perform upgrades and modifications as necessary, order and install parts, and instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. Maintaining professional conduct is crucial, as engineers must uphold the standards set by both Tokyo Electron and our customers to retain credentials for working on-site. This position requires a rotating shift schedule to ensure continuous support for our customers, highlighting the importance of flexibility and adaptability in this role. The physical demands of the job include working in confined spaces, performing tasks in awkward positions, and occasionally requiring lifting and carrying objects up to 35 pounds. Engineers must also adhere to industry safety procedures when dealing with hazardous conditions, including chemicals, electric currents, and high voltage.
