About the position

This position involves evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems, requiring extensive field service experience. The role focuses on ensuring the proper functioning of electrical power distribution equipment and involves direct communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and service electrical distribution or control systems.
• Maintain and test electrical power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment.
• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical personnel.
• Educate customers on equipment usage and safety precautions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Minimum of 7 years of field service experience in electrical distribution or control systems.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Reside within a 50-mile radius of the work locations.
• Power distribution field experience in servicing, maintaining, and testing electrical power distribution equipment.
• Working knowledge of troubleshooting, tests, and repair techniques.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of corporate and business unit policies.
• Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment.
